Q1: Some of my events are held outside of the UK. Can I take out a Multiple Events policy with Event Insurance Services?
A: Yes - however, the policy will not extend to cover the overseas events. We do have a facility with an additional insurer with whom we aim to find cover for the non-UK events.
-
Q2: I am not a permanent UK resident. Can I still take out insurance with you?
A: We can still help you even if you are not a permanent UK resident. However, as our online application facility is currently unable to cater to non-UK clients or events, please give us a call on 01425 470 360 or e-mail us at info@events-insurance.co.uk and one of our lovely team will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
-
Q3: I run an official club with paying members. If one member accidentally injures another member, is cover in place for this?
A: Yes - we offer “member-to-member” cover for any official clubs with paying members.
-
Q4: Some of my events run for longer than 3 days. Can you still cover me on a Multiple Events policy and, if so, at what additional cost?
A: We can cover events longer than 3 days in duration. Please complete our enquiry form to apply for a quotation.
-
Q5: My turnover figure from my events exceeds the £50,000 limit on your policy. Can you still cover me?
A: Yes - we can still quote for you but this needs to be done by referral to our Underwriters. Please complete our online application form and one of our lovely team will be in touch with you shortly with a bespoke premium.
-
Q6: Which level of Public Liability cover do I require?
A: It is best to check with the local council or the venue you are using; they may stipulate a certain level that you require. If not, it really is up to you.
-
Q7: We do not employ anybody to help run our event but we do use local volunteers from the village. Do we still need Employers' Liability?
A: It doesn't matter whether a helper is paid or unpaid - Employers' Liability is a good idea to have as it offers valuable protection to you as the event organiser. Depending on your type of organisation, it may also be a legal requirement. You still have a responsibility towards the people you use to help you, even though you are not paying them.
-
Q8: Do you offer Cancellation cover on a Multiple Events policy?
A: Yes - we can offer this cover on a 'per event' basis, with extensions for Non-Appearance of a key person or Adverse Weather also available. If you need Cancellation cover for all of your events, we can still help. However, our online application facility is currently unable to cater for this, so please give us a call on 01425 470 360 or email us at info@events-insurance.co.uk and one of our lovely team will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
