A: We may be able to assist you if you are based in Hong kong, Singapore or Switzerland, but if you are based in the EU/EEA or the US/Canada you will need to discuss your query with an EU/EEA or US/Canadian based insurance broker. Q6: Which level of Public Liability cover do I require?
A: It is best to check with the local council or the venue you are using. They may stipulate a certain level that you require. If not, it really is up to you.
-
Q7: We do not employ anybody to help run our event but we use local volunteers from the village. Do we still need Employers' Liability?
A: It doesn't matter whether a helper is paid or is a volunteer - Employers' Liability is a good idea to have as it offers protection to you as the event organiser. Depending on your type of organisation, it can also be a legal requirement. Despite the fact that you are not paying them, you still have a responsibility towards the people you use to help you.

Q8: I have an existing medical condition. If I had to cancel my event because of this, would your Cancellation cover pay out?
A: Unfortunately, our Cancellation policies exclude claims arising due to pre-existing illnesses or conditions.
