What Does Animal Event Insurance Cover?
The policy excludes cover for any liability arising to or from either persons riding on animals or persons handling animals.

- Public liability - this covers claims for accidental bodily injury (or even death) to a member of the public as well as accidental damage to third party property (if found to be a result of your negligence).
- Employer’s liability - if you have people working for you at your event (whether they’re paid or unpaid), you can get employers’ liability cover to protect you in the event of third party claims relating to injury (if the claimant was under your supervision or control during the event).
- Event equipment insurance - cover yourself for costs relating to damage, loss or theft of stock and equipment that you’ve hired or brought to an event which you’re legally responsible for (this excludes fittings and fixtures of the venue).
- Event cancellation insurance - this type of insurance will provide cover for irrecoverable costs and expenses incurred as a result of your event being cancelled, interrupted, postponed or abandoned.
