What does our contest insurance cover?
Our contest insurance is designed to insure the costs relating to prizes which are awarded to winning participants at competitive events. Here at Event Insurance Services, we can cover the costs of prizes up to the value of £50,000 for events such as hole in one competitions (in accordance with the policy’s terms and conditions).
We are also able to provide reinstatement options for second place prizes should a participant win your contest early in the event (this can only be won once). Moreover, we’re also able to offer a maximum of three subsidiary prizes which are valued at £250, £100 and £50.
Please take the time to read through all of the documentation sent to you to ensure that you fully understand what you will (and won’t) be covered for.
A pre-disclosed adjudicator will be required to witness the winning participant and for prizes amounting to £25,000 or over, the participant who wins the contest will need to have been recorded. Adjudicators can be employed in the following professions:
